Dhanush has welcomed two new members to his family. Dhanush, who is a pet lover, has now welcomed two puppies and named them King and Kong.

On the work front Dhanush has begun work for his new film ‘Thiruchitrabalam’ with Mithran Jawahar. The film kickstarted with a pooja a few weeks back, and they have also successfully completed a short schedule in Chennai.
